Later today, Aman will compete against Japan’s Rei Higuchi, with hopes of claiming India’s first gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
Sehrawat began the match by earning a point due to passivity from Abakanov, quickly extending his lead to 3-0 with a decisive takedown in the first period.
