Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Viksit Bharat Viksit Madhya Pradesh program through video conferencing today (Thursday). During the program, he will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth over 17,500 crore rupees across Madhya Pradesh.
These projects span various sectors such as irrigation, power, road, rail, water supply, coal, and industry. Additionally, PM Modi will launch the Cyber Tehsil project in Madhya Pradesh.
Among the key initiatives, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate irrigation projects including the Upper Narmada Project, the Raghavpur Multipurpose Project, and the Basaniya Multipurpose Project. These ventures are set to irrigate over 75 thousand hectares of agricultural land in the Dindori, Anuppur, and Mandla districts, thereby enhancing power supply and drinking water access in the region.
Furthermore, PM Modi will dedicate to the nation three railway projects constructed at a cost of more than 2,200 crore rupees. These projects encompass the establishment of a third line in Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi-Jakhlaun and Dhaura-Agasod route, the Gauge conversion project in the New Sumaoli-Jora Alapur railway line, and the construction of the Powarkheda-Jujharpur rail line flyover. These endeavors are aimed at bolstering rail connectivity and fostering socio-economic development in the area.
