According to official sources, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted searches on Wednesday against Congress leader and former minister Harak Singh Rawat as part of a money laundering investigation.

The searches took place at various locations in Uttarakhand, Delhi, and Chandigarh.

Rawat had switched from the BJP to the Congress before the 2022 Uttarakhand assembly polls.

The ED’s investigation is reportedly related to suspected illegal activities within the state’s Corbett Tiger Reserve.
