On Tuesday, India dispatched approximately 3.5 tonnes of aid, including essential medicines, to Zambia in response to the country’s cholera outbreak.
Officials confirmed that the aid was transported via commercial cargo aircraft.
“In response to the cholera outbreak in Zambia, India provided humanitarian assistance through commercial cargo aircraft,” stated an official.
He further elaborated, “The aid, totaling around 3.5 tonnes, consists of water purification equipment, chlorine tablets, and oral rehydration solution (ORS) sachets.”
