The highly anticipated Gartex Texprocess India, a comprehensive trade show dedicated to the garment manufacturing and textile industry, is gearing up for its 3rd edition in Mumbai, scheduled to take place from 1-3 February 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC), Mumbai, Maharashtra. The event is set to host over 100 exhibitors, including more than 30 new participants, making it a key marketplace for textile buyers and sellers. Encompassing innovations across 32 key product categories, the event will also feature the co-located Denim Show, Fabrics and Trims Show, and an exclusive zone on Screen Print India-Textile, showcasing the dynamic evolution of the textile industry.

Known as the go-to trade fair for the complete textile value chain, Gartex Texprocess India has consistently attracted international textile companies over the years. Spanning 10,000 sqm, the upcoming edition promises exciting displays highlighting new-age machinery, advanced technologies, solutions, trending fabrics, and raw materials. With a renewed focus on resilient supply chain processes, technological innovations, and sustainable practices, the event will showcase product brands from India, including Alliance Embroidery, Balaji Sewing Machines, DCC, Geminy, Ginni International, Jaysynth, Jeanologia, Lenzing Fibres India, LNJ Denims, Mehala, Raymonds, and True Colors. International participation is expected from brands like Brother, Bruce, Jack, Pegasus, Siruba, Yumei, and others from Spain, Germany, Japan, Singapore, China, and beyond.

The diverse product display encompasses categories such as Denim Fabrics, Knitting Machines, ERP Solutions, Industrial Sewing Machines, Automation Solutions for Garment Manufacturing in the Cutting Room, Pocket Stitching, Shirts Manufacturing & Embroidery Solutions. The showcase will also include the latest technology in Cutting Plotters, Digital Textile Printers, Heat Transfer Machines, Denim Laser and Finishing machines, 3D Transfer Labels, Printed Tapes and Elastics, Sequins Chain and loose for Hand Embroidery, Garment Accessories, and a large variety of Fashion Fabrics.

The exhibition is expected to pave the way for numerous business alliances and national and international collaborations, further boosting the growth of the sector. According to a report by FICCI-Wazir Advisors, the Indian textile and apparel market size was estimated to be around USD 165 billion in 2022, with projections indicating growth to USD 350 billion by 2030, driven by government initiatives, manufacturer focus, and a strong commitment to circularity. India is on track to become a global textile manufacturing hub.

Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director and Board Member of Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, expressed satisfaction, stating, “We are glad to bring the 3rd Mumbai edition of Gartex Texprocess India for national and international professionals from the garment machinery and textile manufacturing landscape.” He emphasized that the show floor would showcase advanced technological products, delivering high-quality and high-speed performance machinery alongside a variety of textiles, fabrics, denims, screen print solutions, accessories, and more.

Mr. Gaurav Juneja, Director of MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd, highlighted the significance of Gartex Texprocess India as a platform for participants to educate the industry about new developments in the textile sphere. He encouraged exhibitors and visitors to utilize the one-stop selling and sourcing platform to engage with the textile value chain under one roof.

Jointly organized by MEX Exhibitions Pvt Ltd and Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India, with support from the Ministry of Textiles and Denim Manufacturers Association (DMA), Gartex Texprocess India aims to empower participating companies, benefit trade visitors, and contribute to the overall growth of the complete textile value chain
