The price of a 19-kg gas cylinder in the capital, Delhi, has decreased by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1755.50. Its price in Mumbai has become cheaper by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1708.50. In Chennai, its price has decreased by Rs 4.50 to Rs 1924.50. Its price in Kolkata has increased by a slight increase of 50 paise to Rs 1869.
The price of commercial gas cylinders has been reduced on the first day of the New Year 2024. Giving major relief, public sector oil and marketing companies have reduced the price of a 19-kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 1.50 to Rs 4.50. The new rates have come into effect today (Monday).
According to the website of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), the price of a 19-kg gas cylinder in the capital, Delhi, has decreased by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1755.50. Its price in Mumbai has become cheaper by Rs 1.50 to Rs 1708.50. In Chennai, its price has decreased by Rs 4.50 to Rs 1924.50. Its price in Kolkata has increased by a slight increase of 50 paise to Rs 1869.
It is noteworthy that earlier on December 22, 2023, oil companies had reduced the price of a 19-kg commercial gas cylinder by Rs 39.50. However, there has been no reduction in the price of 14.2 kg of domestic LPG cylinders. Currently, it is available in Delhi for Rs 903.
