Over 65 delegates representing G20 member nations, invitee countries, and various international and regional organizations will participate in this event.

The fourth and final meeting of the G20 Framework Working Group (FWG) during India’s G20 Presidency is being held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, from September 18-19, 2023. The primary role of the FWG is to facilitate discussions regarding the current global economic outlook and provide policy recommendations on key macroeconomic issues.

During the Session 1 at the FWG meeting witnessed discussion on Global Economic Outlook and delegates deliberated upon global economic outlook, fiscal sustainability, and macroprudential policies under G20 India Presidency in Raipur.

Over 65 delegates representing G20 member nations, invitee countries, and various international and regional organizations will participate in this event.

The deliverables from this working group during the 2023 Indian Presidency have been successfully accomplished and are referenced in the New Delhi Leaders Declaration. These deliverables include the G20 Report on Macroeconomic Impacts of Food and Energy Insecurity and the G20 Report on Macroeconomic Risks Stemming from Climate Change and Transition Pathways. The upcoming meeting will assess the discussions held within the FWG in 2023 and explore potential future areas of focus.

In conjunction with the meeting, the Reserve Bank of India will organize a series of Jan Bhagidari events on the sidelines. These events will encompass panel discussions on topics like digital banking and financial inclusion, financial literacy programs, a G20 awareness initiative, a painting contest, and a slogan-writing contest.

Furthermore, delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Nandanvan Zoological Garden, which features a Jungle Safari, a Zoological Park, and a dedicated Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre. The delegates will also be treated to a ‘Ratri Bhoj Par Samvad’ (Dinner Conversation) and a cultural event that will allow them to savor the unique cuisine and cultural richness of Chhattisgarh.

The 3rd G20 Framework Working Group (FWG) meeting under the Indian G20 Presidency took place in Kochi from June 13-14, 2023.
