India'Green Hydrogen Pilots in India' Conference starts prior to G20 Summit

A conference on “Green Hydrogen Pilots in India” is taking place in New Delhi on September 5, 2023, ahead of the G20 Summit. The day-long meeting features presentations by public and private sector companies in India showcasing various Green Hydrogen Pilots. The aim of the conference is to highlight pioneering innovative pilots and advancements in green hydrogen technology.

As per the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the Conference will present pioneering innovative pilots and progress in green hydrogen technology. The Conference is being hosted by NTPC.

Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, R. K. Singh will attend the opening session of the conference and deliver the keynote address.

Secretary, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Bhupinder S. Bhalla; CMD, NTPC, Gurdeep Singh; and CEO, NTPC Green Energy Ltd., Mohit Bhargava will also address the opening session.

Participants will have the opportunity to discover innovative pilot projects and gain valuable insights into the future of clean energy. The discussion during the event will help in the assimilation of information and encourage the sharing of achievements and challenges faced by the early movers.

Moreover, the pilot projects will help address technological challenges, develop local supply chains, and optimize techno-economic feasibility in the future. The conference will not only illuminate the path forward but also inspire concerted efforts to achieve the objectives of the National Green Hydrogen Mission.
