Bhubaneswar, President Droupadi Murmu emphasized the importance of both material and spiritual development for humanity
During the foundation stone-laying ceremony of the “Divine Light House” by Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya at Dasabatia, on the outskirts of the capital city, on Thursday. In line with this vision, she also introduced the year’s theme, “The Year of Positive Change,” to promote seminars and conferences.
In her address, President Murmu expressed that while materialistic changes can bring happiness, true mental peace can be attained by following the spiritual path. She acknowledged technology’s role as a driving force for change, highlighting the inevitability of change for overall development.
Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, according to the President, goes beyond being a mere organization; it is a social and spiritual campaign run by women. She expressed delight in the organization’s efforts to promote spirituality through meditation and disciplined living.
Drawing attention to the challenges of negative thinking, President Murmu pointed out how negative thoughts can disrupt our minds when left unexamined. She emphasized the pressing need to move towards positivity and eliminate feelings of envy and hatred. She commended the Brahma Kumaris organization for its dedicated efforts to raise awareness and guide people toward a positive direction for the betterment of humanity.
