Prime Minister Narendra Modi gives good news to the Indian students in France of 5-year post-study visas during his address in Paris.

While speaking to the Indian diaspora at LA Seine Musicale in Paris, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday announced that Indian students who are pursuing a master’s degree in France will now be given a five-year long-term post-study visa.  Previously, they were given only two-year work visas.

“The last time I came to France, it was decided that Indian students studying in France would be given a 2-year post-study work visa. Now, it has been decided that Indian students pursuing Masters in France will be given a long-term post-study visa of five years,” said Narendra Modi in his address.

Indian students have increasingly been choosing France as a destination for their higher education.
