Shivaani Sen Dar, a prominent live host and the first runner-up of the Mrs. South India 2019 pageant tragically passed away.
She suffered from an epileptic attack on Sunday, July 9 at 7.40 pm, at her residence as confirmed by CCTV footage. According to a close friend of Shivaani, who prefers to remain anonymous, the tragic incident was discovered the next morning at approximately 9:30 am by Shivaani’s maid. Upon realizing the severity of the situation, the maid promptly informed others, including Shivaani’s ex-husband.
With the assistance of neighbors, they quickly rushed Shivaani to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals made every effort to save her life.
Shivaani began her career in 2005 and gained recognition for hosting various shows both nationally and internationally. She was known for her presence at formal corporate events as well as extravagant weddings. The news of her untimely demise has saddened the Twitter community, with many offering their condolences.
Unfortunately, despite the collective efforts, Shivaani Sen tragically passed away due to the severe consequences of the epileptic attack. At present, her body rests in the hospital mortuary, awaiting the arrival of her parents, who will soon travel from Delhi to Hyderabad to carry out the necessary procedures for her release. Expressing their grief, the close friend of Shivaani also shared, “She was left alone and helpless after the epileptic attack. If someone had taken her to the hospital immediately, she might have survived.”
She was the first runner-up of the Mrs. South India title in 2019 and a partner in Humsafar Weddings. She embarked on her career in 2005 and went on to host a wide range of events, including formal corporate gatherings, conferences, media launches, weddings, and annual events, among others. Siddhartha Chaturvedi of Event Crafter expressed his sorrow in a social media post, writing, “I am writing this with a heavy heart.
