President Droupadi Murmu held Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) at the Air force Academy in Dundigal

On Saturday, President Droupadi Murmu conducted a thorough inspection of the Combined Graduation Parade (CGP) held at the Air Force Academy in Dundigal, located near this city.

Having arrived in Hyderabad on Friday evening, the President embarked on a two-day visit.

The CGP, which showcased full military grandeur, commemorated the successful conclusion of the rigorous and demanding Pre-Commissioning Training undergone by Flight Cadets from various branches of the Indian Air Force (IAF).

As both the distinguished guest and Reviewing Officer (RO) of the CGP, President Murmu presided over the event.

The CGP signifies the completion of training, where the flight cadets proudly reveal their newly acquired ranks denoting the President’s Commission.

Furthermore, the RO affixed the ‘Wings’ and ‘Brevets’ onto the cadets’ chests, depending on the specific branch into which they will be commissioned.

Subsequently, the parade will be followed by a display of aerial acrobatics by a Pilatus PC-7 trainer aircraft, a flypast by a formation of PC-7s, an impressive aerobatic exhibition performed by Su-30 aircraft, and synchronized aerobatic displays by the helicopter display team known as ‘Sarang’ and the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team.
