all attention is focused on the Congress leaders in the “Kaun Banega Karnataka CM”
In the midst of the anticipation surrounding the selection of the Chief Minister of Karnataka in the “Kaun Banega Karnataka CM” game, all attention is focused on the Congress leaders as they decide on this coveted position in the state.
Yesterday, the three central observers, led by former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde, returned to Delhi with a report after gathering the opinions of the newly elected MLAs regarding the leadership of Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar.
Following Congress’s resounding victory in the recently concluded assembly election, intense lobbying for the esteemed position began with a poster competition, as supporters of Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar vied for the post.
Upon arrival in Bengaluru, the central observers individually met with each of the newly elected MLAs to hear their views on Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar’s leadership. Armed with the feedback, they returned to Delhi on Monday and are expected to submit the report to AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge.
Kharge will engage in consultations with the party high command, Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, before making a decision on the next chief minister of the state in the near future.
