On Tuesday, Rana Sanaullah, the Pakistani Minister for Interior, refuted claims that Imran Khan, the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), was subjected to torture during his apprehension by Rangers personnel from Islamabad High Court (IHC).

The senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) took to Twitter and stated that despite numerous notices, Imran Khan did not make himself available. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) took him into custody for his alleged involvement in damaging the national treasury.
