Prime Minister Modi says Cong advocating separation of Karnataka from India

IndiaPrime Minister Modi says Cong advocating separation of Karnataka from India

During his last election rally before the May 10 assembly election in Karnataka, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress party of openly advocating for the separation of Karnataka from India, likening them to the “tukde-tukde” gang.

Modi alleged that the Congress is insulting the lakhs of Kannada freedom fighters who contributed to India’s freedom struggle and is fanning caste and communal fire in the country.

He also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s statement in London, accusing him of seeking interference from foreign powers in India’s internal affairs. Modi further claimed that terrorists and criminals are convinced of Congress’ support in their rule and that the politics of appeasement is behind heaping insults on Bajrang Bali. He also accused the Congress of insulting Karnataka’s rich heritage and Hindu faith through vote bank appeasement politics.

Modi noted that India has been an ancient global power in terms of spices, but under Congress rule, the country started losing its identity even on turmeric. Modi pointed out that India has come out of being a ‘Fragile Five’ economy to become the fifth largest economy in the world in the last nine years, and Karnataka is now the startup capital of India.
