Renowned Tamil actor Ajith Kumar’s father P Subramaniam breathed his last today at 84.

Renowned Tamil actor Ajith Kumar’s father P Subramaniam breathed his last today (March 24) at the age of 84. His mortal remains will be cremated today at Besant Nagar crematorium in Chennai at 10 am.

Tamil superstar Ajit Kumar’s father P Subramaniam passed away today (March 24) morning. As per the reports, he was fighting paralysis and an age-related illness. The actor’s father’s mortal remains will be cremated today at Besant Nagar crematorium in Chennai at 10 am.
P Subramaniam was a Malayali from Palakkad, Kerala. He married Mohini, a Sindhi from Kolkata and in 1971, on May 1, the duo were endowed with Ajith Kumar. The actor also has two brothers Anup Kumar, an investor, and Anil Kumar.
IIT Madras graduate-turned-news, fans and celebrities took to their social media handles as they mourn the demise of P Subramaniam. Actress Sakshi Agarwal took to her Twitter page to offer condolences. She wrote, “My Deeply Condolences to #AjithKumar sir & family..! May god give them strength to overcome this loss.”

Ajith Kumar and his family shared the news by releasing a press note. It read, “Our father, P.S. Mani, passed away in the early hours of this morning, in his sleep, after a long illness. He was 85. We are grateful for the care and support provided to him and our family by a number of medical professionals, especially following his debilitating stroke of four years ago. We are comforted, at this time of grief, that he lived a good life and knew the undying love of our mother, his partner of nearly six decades.”
AK said: “#Ajithkumar sir & late #Subramaniam sir both helped financially for the people who work in their homes. They have built home for their workers and support their workers’ children’s education.”
