Ready to accept the leadership of Uddhav Thackeray if he breaks alliance with Congress and NCP-Kesarkar Kolhapur.
“If Uddhav Thackeray breaks the alliance with Congress and Nationalist Congress Party(NCP) then we are ready to accept his leadership even now,” said state education minister Deepak Kesarkar.
Talking with reporters after taking darshan of Goddess Shree Mahalaxmi Devi today and making a survey of ongoing development works at Shree Mahalaxmi temple area, Mr Kesarkar said that today the peoples were with us (with Shinde group), we had not cheated Mr Thackeray who himself had told us to go anywhere.
While Mr. Thackeray had also confessed before prime minister Narendra Modi when he had met in Delhi, that it was wrong to keep away from thoughts of Hindutva and gave word to Mr Modi that he (Thackeray) would correct this mistake after going to Maharashtra but he could not do so.
He went on to say that Mr Thackeray himself cheated people. Kesarkar said that for the last eight months, the Shinde-Phadnvis government has announced Rs 1350 crore funds to Kokan. When then finance minister Ajit Pawar curtailed funds of Kokan then why not take objection by then chief minister Uddhav Thackeray?
