A man from Gujarat fooled the Kashmir police and administration by pretending to be a delegate from Prime Minister Modi’s office.
The man, Kiran Patel, made a fool out of the J&K administration by claiming to be a senior officer of the Prime Minister’s Office. He enjoyed his stay at the 5-Star Lalit Hotel for days having a luxurious time at the government’s expense.
J&K CID gave input to Srinagar Police. SP East Srinagar raided Lalit Hotel to arrest him. He was given security cover at the request of a Kashmir DC.
Input about conman Kiran Patel was given by J&K CID to Kashmir Zone Police and his fake visiting card of PMO was discovered.
Kiran Patel incidentally went around roaming Kashmir under police protection. He
visited Pulwama as well as Baramulla among other places such as the Central Security at Lalchowk, Srinagar and Kaman Post, India-Pakistan LoC at Uri, Baramulla. However, the Kashmir Police acted vigilantly and quickly arrested the conman.

This man was arrested today because he posed as a delegate from the PM office & made a fool out of Kashmir police & administration. He stayed in a 5-star hotel for days & had a good time at the govt’s expense.
