Rishabh Pant’s miraculous escape from death from a freak accident

India cricketer Rishabh Pant had a miraculous escape from death with his car flipping over three to four times before catching fire.

One Version where Rishabh Pant was Looted and He called the Ambulance

Rishabh Pant’s quick reflexes saved him when he jumped out of the car.   Rishabh Pant suffered injuries to his head, back, and leg and is currently out of the danger. It is said that before the car caught fire, Rishabh Pant broke the window and jumped out in time. Despite injuries, he managed to call the ambulance before some locals arrived at the spot to help him.  It is said some men looted his money after the accident.

Bus driver Sushil Mann’s Version

Bus driver Sushil Mann said that there was a possibility that Rishabh Pant wouldn’t have survived after the Rishabh Pant, wicketkeeper underwent the shocking car crash on Friday, December 30. Pant was returning from Uttarakhand to Delhi when his car flipped over a number of times

Mann said that the incident took place around 300 meters away, after which he and the passengers on the bus rushed to Pant’s rescue. Sushil Mann said that when the accident was taking place, the passengers inside the bus were terrified.

Speaking to India Today, Mann said, “When I left Haridwar at 4:25 am, at one stoppage, I slowed my bus and saw some light moving here and there around 300 meters away. It was hard to guess if it was a car. I told my conductor that something was wrong and an accident happened. At around 100 meters, the car collided with a divider on the Haridwar side. The car was facing the bus and the passengers got frightened.”

“The moment the car went towards the side of the connector, it already turned three to four times after crashing into the divider. Pant was half outside the car and I hit the brakes and me and my conductor went out and took him outside the car. The passengers inside the bus also helped us. I asked him if he was alone and he said ‘yes’. I saw that he was conscious. The trunk of the car had already caught fire and things would have gotten over very quickly and Pant wouldn’t have survived.

“Then he said that ‘I am Rishabh Pant and a cricketer’. I am not a huge cricket fan as I follow Kabaddi. We took him out and laid him on the divider. He asked for water and we gave him water. One of the passengers covered him with a cloth. On the one hand, I was trying to call the police, but the line was busy. The ambulance was also busy.

“We were getting nervous as the fire was getting mightier. There was a pole on the road and we were worried that any other car could crash. My conductor told me to take him inside the bus and take him to the hospital. Then the police and ambulance came,” Mann said.

There are also reports that Pant jumped out of the car by breaking the window as soon as it caught fire and was then saved by a driver and conductor of a Haryana Roadways bus passing by.

Pant was initially taken to the Saksham Hospital Multispecialty and Trauma Centre, after which he was shifted to the Max Hospital in Dehradun.
