President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers at Srisailam temple on Monday.
After arriving at the temporary helipad in Sundipenta village by a chopper from Hyderabad, accompanied by Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan and Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, she was received by AP Ministers Kottu Satyanarayana, Buggana Rajendranath and senior officials.
After darshan, the temple pundits blessed the President with ‘Vedasirvachanam’ and presented ‘Theertha Prasadams’.
Tight security arrangements were made at the temple town in view of President’s visit.
