A pregnant Mexican Rosa Isela Castro Vazquez was murdered by monsters who sliced open her stomach and stole her unborn baby.
Rosa Isela Castro Vazquez, 20, was eight months pregnant when she was snatched by two suspects who cut the baby out of her womb and dumped her body in Medellin del Bravo, in Veracruz. According to cops, the suspects were busted after they were discovered to have a newborn baby with them.
Investigators believe the couple’s motive was to steal the child because the female suspect could not conceive her own children.
In the fashion of the Mexican justice system, police have only released the couple’s first names and an initial for their surname. They have been identified as Gonzalo ‘N’ and Veronica ‘N’. They are charged with kidnapping and femicide.
Cops say Vazquez was lured into a deadly trap through social media. She had been promised clothes for her unborn baby and was meeting the woman near the airport.
CCTV captured Vazquez meeting the woman, who arrived late and appeared nervous while talking to her intended victim. The victim then got into a vehicle and was never seen alive again.
The Attorney General of the State of Veracruz made the following statement: “The State Attorney General’s Office, headed by Veronica Hernandez Giadans, reports that officials of the Ministerial Police arrested Gonzalo ‘N’ and Veronica ‘N’ as alleged perpetrators of the crime of disappearance committed by individuals.”
The baby girl was recovered and is reportedly doing well.
In September, another woman, Taylor Parker, 29, was given the death penalty in Texas for murdering her pregnant friend and cutting the fetus out of the womb. She tried to pass the baby off as her own.
In Mexico, violence against women is at epidemic levels with more than 3,700 women and girls murdered in 2021. About 1,000 were classified as femicides.
