Drishyam 2 Box Office: Ajay Devgn-Tabu’s suspense thriller hits an all-time high, one of the most anticipated films of the year and crosses Rs 37 crore mark on day two starring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Akshaye Khanna, Saurabh Shukla, and Rajat Kapoor.
The film which has received combined to fantastic reviews from critics and viewers is also doing well at the box office. The movie made more than Rs 37 crores on the second day, backed by powerful good reviews, an exciting thriller story, and outstanding performances.
The wait finally ended as the producers released the second Drishyam instalment, after seven long years. The first movie came out in July 2015 and was a tremendous success, was a follow-up to the movie of the same name starring Mohanlal.

Drishyam 2: The Resumption, or simply Drishyam 2 is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced by Antony Perumbavoor through the company Aashirvad Cinemas.
It is a sequel to their 2013 film Drishyam and the second installment to the series, the film stars Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan, and Esther Anil. The story takes place six years after the events of Drishyam.
Jeethu wrote the script for Drishyam 2 when the production works of his other film Ram, got interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After a formal announcement made on Mohanlal’s 60th birthday, 21 May 2020, the principal photography began on 21 September and concluded on 6 November 2020, while adhering to safety precautions set for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
The film was shot extensively for 46 days in and around Thodupuzha in the same locations as Drishyam, and some scenes in Kochi. Anil Johnson composed the songs and scored them. Satheesh Kurup handled the cinematography and V. S. Vinayak edited the film.
The film was released worldwide on 19 February 2021 to much critical acclaim, hailing the narration style and performances (especially of Mohanlal).
