Kejriwal’ jibe against Sonia Gandhi irks Congress workers

IndiaKejriwal' jibe against Sonia Gandhi irks Congress workers

BJP wants to make Sonia Gandhi ‘PM from backdoor’: Arvind Kejriwal says in Gujarat a comment facing backlash from Congress workers.

Kejriwal said, “I have heard that after PM Modi, Sonia ji would be next candidate for the BJP for the prime minister’s post,” Kejriwal said at a briefing while taking a sharp jibe amid speculation of activist Medha Patkar being considered for the chief minister’s post. “Please ask the BJP leader who has been asking questions on this about the consideration of Sonia ji being considered a candidate for Modi ji’s successor.”

Dr. Ajoy Kumar, a Congress leader, and former IPS officer lashed out at AAP and in his conference said, “Aam Aadmi Party is doing a lot of false propaganda in the country through advertisements. He calls AAP an “Arvind Advertising Party, Arvind, an Actor’s Party; Arvind, an Ash Party.”

In the last two months, the Punjab government has given advertisements worth 36 crores inside Gujarat ₹ but they do not have money to pay the salary in Punjab.”  Apparently, teachers in Delhi and Punjab have not been paid their salary because the government does not have money to pay them.

Ankit Mayank, a youth leader, and staunch Congress supporter said, “Kejriwal should think twice before commenting on Congress President Smt. Sonia Gandhi.

Smt. Gandhi declined PM post not just once but twice in 2004 and 2009.

Kejriwal must apologize now or ready to face the wrath of crores of Congress workers who respect her like their mother.”

Congress workers are especially irked because as they say “He is commenting when Sonia Gandhi ji is not well and facing a health issue.”

Congress claims AAP spends Rs 500 crores in advertising, the Delhi model is a fake, and Kejriwal renovated his government house for Rs 20 crore.

AAP is ‘Arvind Advertisement Party

Congress claims that the AAP government has spent Rs 500 crores in advertising, the Congress on Tuesday called it the ‘Arvind Advertisement Party’ besides Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s ‘Delhi model’ as ‘fake’.

Speaking to the media, Congress spokesperson Ajoy Kumar said, “Arvind Advertisement Party has spent Rs 500 crores in advertising.

There is no Delhi model except advertising through TV channels, and newspapers, and sending a ‘fake’ message. Their only model is to fool the public.” “AAP is doing ‘propaganda’ across the country through advertisements. In the last two months, the AAP government in Punjab spent Rs 36 crore for advertisement but it does not have money to pay salaries,” he claimed.

Accusing the AAP that is not interested in people’s welfare, Kumar said, “AAP is no 1 in terms of ‘corruption’.

An example is the liquor scam.” In an apparent attack on Kejriwal, the Congress spokesperson said, “the same man who said I will stay in a simple house, he has renovated his government house with Rs 20 crore. He flies in a private jet to Gandhinagar, stays in a five-star hotel and then talks to an ‘autowala’, this is actual true face.” He also asked Kejriwal what his views on RSS and Bilkis Bano case. “AAP never spoke on the destruction of the constitutional institution by the BJP. It is BJP’s B team,” Kumar alleged.
