A Delhi court on Monday granted bail to Aumkareshwar Thakur, the main accused in creating the ‘Sulli Deals App’.

The Patiala House Court noted that the accused cannot be refused bail just because replies of Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and other agencies are awaited. According to reports, the court said that prolonged incarceration would be harmful to his overall well being.

Delhi Police’s Special Cell had arrested the accused from Indore in January this year in connection with the case.

Sulli Deals and Bulli bai applications were created recently and photos of Muslim women were allegedly uploaded on the apps without their consent and objectionable remarks were also made about them.
