On speaking about the Birbhum massacre, MPs claimed that 12 people were burnt to death following the killing of the Panchayat Up-Pradhan (deputy head) in the area, Bhadu Sheikh.
National Commission for Protection of Child Rights has requested SP Birbhum, West Bengal to conduct an investigation in the Birbhum massacre and submit a report within 3 days.
No one is quite sure who is behind the fire though TMC is suspected, the linkage still has to be proved. Union Home Ministry has sought a report from the Bengal government over the killing of the 12 people in violence.
Meantime, the Child Rights body requested SP Birbhum to give a report within 3 days. Unfortunately, 8 persons, including 2 children, died on Tuesday after their houses were set on fire in the wee hours of Tuesday morning. This move came after a nine-member delegation of BJP MPs from West Bengal met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and sought his intervention and action against the perpetrators of the crime.
The videos are so horrific that Facebook suspended accounts showing the shocking videos revealing their bodies charred beyond recognition. It was reported that family members were crying for mercy before they were burned alive. One main witness, a boy watched his entire family being burned alive. He is now undergoing treatment in a hospital, under police protection.
Tit for tat? Can we call it tat? Taking 12 lives including children for one life is not tat, it is insanity and more so frightening when it is exploited politically.
