In the midst of the Ukraine-Russian war, a hero hails from Congress, Aarti Krishna who has helped more than 4600 students during the crisis.
Ms. Aarti Krishna from AICC helped over 4600 students
Ms. Aarti Krishna from AICC has labored hard since the start of the crisis and here she received a set of students in Ukraine at Bangaluru Airport, coordinated by the AICC Secretary. Many students still have to be evacuated and sadly, there is no presence of the Indian Embassy on ground in Ukraine. In fact, when students are calling the Indian Embassy, their calls are being cut and there is anguish, anger, and fear rising among the Indian students.
During this crisis, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a comment which was termed as an “insensitive comment” as to why students are studying abroad, perhaps forgetting that Indian students work and study across the globe.
Middle East region Ms. Aarti Krishna, she has helped more than 4600 students since crisis started.
Indian Students in Ukraine Feel Abandoned by The Indian Government
“Bharat ka jo sarkar hai, kehte hai democratic country hai, hum log apne sarkar ko chunte hai..par woh sarkar ne hamare liye kuch nahi kiya” That defines the BJP govt so well!!! Hope everyone understands & remembers this well, when they vote again!! pic.twitter.com/MHTJG1qvz0

The students trapped in the crisis have shown the truth of the brutality and failure of the government.”
भारतीय छात्रों पर सवाल उठाने के बजाय, मोदी सरकार खुद से सवाल क्यों नहीं करती?
संकट में फँसे छात्रों ने सरकार की क्रूरता व नाकामी का सच दिखा दिया है। pic.twitter.com/MzxMRpm297

In a shocking incident, the Indian Embassy is asking students to clean toilets before boarding the plane and Congress tweeted “It is a ridiculous and the most insensitive statement.
Modi govt should hang its head in shame.
Not every place is for “Aapada Mein Avsar”

Volodymyr Zelenskyy felt NATO let them down but praised Ukrainians and said, “We are warriors of light.”
In the meantime, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says NATO has given the “green light for the further bombing of Ukrainian towns and villages”.
“All the people who die from this day forward will also die because of you, because of your weakness, because of your lack of unity,” the Ukrainian president said in a passionate nighttime address.
NATO cautioned on Friday that inflicting a no-fly zone could provoke full-fledged war in Europe with nuclear-armed Russia. “The only way to implement a no-fly zone is to send NATO fighter planes into Ukraine’s airspace, and then impose that no-fly zone by shooting down Russian planes,” Jens Stoltenberg, the NATO chief, said. “If we did that, we’ll end up with something that could end in a full-fledged war in Europe, involving many more countries and causing much more human suffering.”
Zelenskyy assessed that the NATO countries have created a narrative that a no-fly zone would provoke Russia’s aggression against NATO. “This is the self-hypnosis of those who are weak, insecure inside, despite the fact they possess weapons many times stronger than we have,” he said.
He also applauded Ukrainians for their resistance against Russia’s invasion: “We are warriors of light,” he said. “The history of Europe will remember this forever.”
