All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslemeen (AIMIM) leader Asadudding Owaisi urges to repeal CAA like the farm laws, the CAA should also be ruled back on Friday he said. He also linked the ‘Prime Minister’s announcement of repealing three farm laws with the upcoming Uttar Pradesh and Punjab elections.

Owaisi also says how a one-nation-one-election is a bad idea. He said, “Impending elections and protest movements can force Prime Minister of India to rethink. He said that the Anti-CAA movement ensured that talks of national NRC were shelved though CAA rules yet to be made. He emphasized agitation for rights saying the farmers’ movement succeeded due to their persistence.

Owaisi said, “Farm Laws were unconstitutional from start. The government’s ego forced farmers to hit the streets; if the government was not so childishly stubborn, above 700 farmers wouldn’t have lost their lives.

He said, “This is also a good example of why one nation one election is a bad idea. The ruling party at the Union should be held democratically accountable throughout its term, and state assembly elections serve that purpose.
