AKTC has been carrying out the conservation works for the last 8 years and nearly 75 percent of conservation works of the Tombs were completed and the remaining works will be completed by 2025, Mr. Nanda said during the meeting with Mr. Owaisi.
In the recently held Assembly session, the AIMIM floor leader lauded the AKTC work to improve the condition of the Qutub Shahi tombs and appreciated their efforts which have given new strength to the 600-year old heritage structure.
In a release here, he also requested Mr. Ratish Nanda to take up the restoration works of Paigah Tombs Complex at Pisalbanda in Kanchanbagh as it was among the major wonders of Hyderabad city and was known for its architectural excellence as shown in its laid mosaic tiles and craftsmanship work.
But now the look of Paigah Tombs deserted and totally uncared and neglected by the state government, Mr. Owaisi said.
AKTC has agreed to take up restoration works at Paigah tombs and the AIMIM leader along with the representatives of Aga Khan trust will visit the Paigah tombs in November.
