With two non-locals killed today and another injured in Srinagar, on Sunday, October 17th, J&K police issued a safety advisory.

In this, they asked that the non-locals be brought to the nearest police station, Central Armed Police Force and army camps

The terrorist attack occurred in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district Sunday evening, the police said. The shooting took place in the Wanpoh area of Kulgam.

“Terrorists fired indiscriminately at the Wanpoh area of Kulgam and during this attack, two non-locals were killed and one was injured. Police & SFs cordoned off the area,” a police tweet said.

The slain has been identified as Raja Rishi and Joginder Rishi from Bihar. The incident took place a day after two nonlocals were killed in Srinagar and Pulwama. In the wake of series of targeted killings, J&K police sent out an advisory asking non-locals to be brought to the nearest police station, Central Armed Police Force, and army camps.

This month, in October eleven civilians have been killed by terrorists.
