IndiaBJP mayor’s nephew got land for 20 L, & sold to Ram Temp trust for 2.5 cr

Ayodhya BJP mayor’s nephew bought land for 20 lakh, sold it to the Ram temple trust for 2.5 crores in 3 months in 2021.

The property was adjacent to the Ramjanmabhoomi in Ayodhya, valued at Rs 35.6 lakh by the local authorities.

Just recently, the nation was stunned at the scam of buying land worth Rs 18 crore by Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Trust for Rs 18 crore and while the BJP said these “accusations” were politically motivated, this new scam got uncovered in Ayodhya where the nephew of the Mayor of Ayodhya bought land for Rs 20 lakh and sold it to Ram Janmabhoomi trust for Rs 2.5 crores. This land is in the Kot Ramchandra area, just adjacent to the Ram temple.

This land was in the name of Mahant Devendra Prasad Acharya till February of this year. On 20 February 2021, a person named Deep Narayan Upadhyay bought this land from Mahant Devendra Prasad for 20 lakh rupees. It was discovered from the documents that Deep Narayan Upadhyay sold this land to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for Rs. 2.5 crores only after three months.

Within just three months a land worth Rs 20 lakh sold for Rs 2 crore 50 lakh raises a lot of eyebrows because land values just do not increase so quickly, and that too, why only for the Ram Temple are prices skyrocketing, seemingly cheating the innocent devotees who are pouring out money from their savings to give to the Temple.

It is an established fact that the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has been established by the Narendra Modi government of the Center.

Deep Narayan Upadhyay is the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party, nephew of Ayodhya Mayor Rishikesh Upadhyay. He has been linked in the land registry as a witness in the past land scam in Ayodhya as well. As Mayor Upadhyay is being questioned for the land scam, astonishingly, a new land scam has arisen to the shock of many.

Innocent devotees have paid for the temple through their hard-earned money, trustingly giving the Trust for the temple only to discover to their horror that middle agents are looting them in the name of the Temple.
