Naidu condemns demolition and said that while the other States were busy rescuing their people from the deadly infections, the AP Government was only preoccupied with harassment of the Opposition leaders for political vengeance.

Vijayawada: Telugu Desam Party National President and former CM N.Chandrababu Naidu condemns demolition of the building on Sunday. The buildings belonging to TDP former MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao in without giving prior notice to him.

The TDP chief deplored that the Jagan Reddy regime was busy doing ‘diversion politics’ in order to cover up its Government’s failures to ensure hospital beds and oxygen supply to the virus victims in the State.

The common public was greatly suffering due to lack of medicines and vaccines but the ruling party was solely trying to escape from its responsibilities in this troubled time.

Mr. Naidu said that former MLA of TDP Dhulipalla Narendra was wrongfully arrested in Guntur yesterday while Palla Srinivas’s property was unlawfully demolished in Vizag today.

There was no idea what this Government would do in Rayalaseema tomorrow. These needless tactics only meant to divert the public attention from the worsening Coronavirus situation.

The number of positive cases was rising along with the deaths but the YCP leaders were not taking up any responsibility.

Meanwhile, TDP secretary MLC Nara Lokesh said that Palla Srinivas was only targeted. Because he courageously protested and obstructed the privatization of the Visakha Steel Plant.

Srinivas had come as a big hurdle for Jagan Reddy’s plan to buy Visakha Steel at scrap values.

The Jagan Reddy Government could not intimidate the TDP leaders by their oppressive actions. Adding that they would fight back the YCP atrocities with greater vigor, he said.

TDP AP President K. Atchannaidu flayed that the YCP regime following a new modus operandi. In this by demolishing the TDP leaders’ buildings when the courts were on holidays.

The GVMC officials have brought down Palla Srinivas buildings in the early morning hours.
