Saturday, MP Rahul Gandhi, Congress party leader was in Roopangarh, Ajmer, along with Ashok Gehlot, Sachin Pilot on the same platform to strengthen the voices of farmers against the farm laws.
Rahul Gandhi wearing a Rajastani red-and-green pagri (turban) drove a tractor, with Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Rajasthan Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara sitting next to him.
Humongous crowds gathered as Mr. Gandhi addressed farmers of the Kisan Mahapanchayat in Ajmer district.
He said, “The business of agriculture is not the business of any single industrialist, this is India’s (Bharat Mata’s) business.”
He said, “If you believe that the automobile or aviation is the biggest business, then you are mistaken, agriculture is the biggest business in India.”
Today one person, an industrialist controls 40% of India’s grains, 40% of the grains are in his godown. The second law will give control of 80-90% grains to this person:
He stressed, “This is well-planned plot to destroy all small businesses and small traders in the country, so as to benefit & enrich 2- 3 greedy crony capitalist friends seeking monopolies in India

There were some emotional moments with the crowds especially when the youth took pictures with Rahul Gandhi.

Assessing from the crowds gathered and the good connect with the farmers, it would relay that not only Punjab but States all over India stand in solidarity with the farmers.
Lieutenant Sachin Rajesh Pilot, of Congress party and President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, said in his speech to the Kisan Mahapanchayat held at Makrana,
“We will always support the farmers on the path of truth and non-violence to save their land and rights due to the misgivings of the Central Government.”
“We are committed to the resolution taken to protect the rights of the farmer brothers under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi.”
Sachin Pilot in his speech also said, “Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Rajasthan has given a clear message across the country that the Congress Party and Rahul Gandhi have landed firmly on the ground against these three anti-agricultural laws of the Central Government.”
