Etah: Bharatiya Kisan Sangh (All India Farmers Union) chief Akhil Sangharshi, who was on the way to Delhi march along with hundreds of activists from Etah district of Uttar Pradesh against the new farm laws, was arrested by the police today. He was also accompanied by other farmer leaders.
Leaders and activists of Bharatiya Kisan Sangh have been arrested from National Highway 91. Farmers’ union leaders and workers were going to attend the parade to be held in Delhi on 26 January.
Akhil Sangharshi said that the attitude of the police was disturbing. Police said that the law and order in the state could have deteriorated with their march.
