Russia will lift ban on tomato imports from Azerbaijan from 1st January; 15 Azerbaijan farmers will be able to export tomatoes to Russia
Moscow: Russia will remove restrictions imposed on Azerbaijan on tomato imports and will approve the export of 15 Azerbaijan products from 1 January.
Russia’s agricultural security watchdog said on Tuesday that Russia would lift ban imposed on tomato imports from Azerbaijan from 1st January and that 15 Azerbaijan farmers would be able to export tomatoes to Russia.
Russia banned the import of tomatoes and apples from Azerbaijan on 10 December because the sites where they had grown were infected with germs and could harm the country’s crops.
