First dose of the Coronavirus vaccine has been given to more than 1 million people since it began 10 days ago in the United States
Washington: More than 1 million people in the United States have taken the first dose of the Coronavirus vaccine.
Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), said in a statement. He said that more than one million people have been given the first dose since the novCov vaccine supply and vaccination began 10 days ago in the US.
Mr. Redfield has appealed to the citizens of the country to wear masks and take other precautions until the Covid vaccine is available.
Pharmaceutical manufacturer Pfizer–BioNTech and Moderna have made available a supply of 10 million vaccines for two doses in the US by the end of the week.
