Kathmandu: Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday unexpectedly took drastic steps to recommend to President Badiavi Bhandari to dissolve Parliament.
According to the Kathmandu Post, an emergency meeting of the Oli government’s cabinet this morning decided to recommend the president to dissolve the federal parliament.
Energy Minister Breshamanpin said, “In today’s meeting, the Cabinet decided to recommend to the President to dissolve Parliament.”
Mr. Ollie was pressurized to withdraw an ordinance on the Constitutional Council Act, which he promulgated on Tuesday, which was approved by the President.
