IndiaLove Jihad law is not going to end unemployment, poverty, backwardness: Digvijay Singh

Digvijay Singh has accused the BJP government of diverting attention from the major issues and said that the government is not paying attention to the main problem

Damoh: Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Digvijay Singh has said he does not have any problem if the Love Jihad law ends unemployment, backwardness, and poverty.

Accusing the BJP government of diverting attention from the major issues, Mr. Singh said that the government is not paying attention to the main problems. He told this in Damoh last night while he was on way to Panna from Bhopal for a private event.

He said on the trials of Covid vaccine on people in Madhya Pradesh that protocol should be followed. The government should not be in a hurry. He asked, ‘Who will be responsible if any side effects occur?’

On the farmers’ agitation, he said that farmers are demanding their basic facilities. BJP had to talk about all this. This law is benefiting the big corporates and people of multinational level, hence the farmers are agitating. Had the government discussed with the farmers before the law was brought, why would this situation have happened?

Regarding the results of the by-election, Mr. Singh said that the election results should not remain as expected to the Congress. This thing is also being reviewed. Youth will be given a chance in future civic elections.
