Hyderabad: Hyderabad city police has registered cases against BJP state president Bundi Sanjay and Akbaruddin Obaisi, the floor leader of the Telangana assembly.
These cases were registered for the inflammatory speeches delivered by both of them. The SR Nagar Police has registered a case under Section 505 of the IPC for making inflammatory statements.
Sanjay Kumar, who took part in a roadshow in Ira Gadda Division, threatened to demolish the AIMIM office in Darul Salaam with BJP workers in two hours and made a controversial statement about the surgical strike in the old city.
Similarly, Akbaruddin Owaisi had demanded the eviction of the unauthorized occupants of the tomb of former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao and the tank bund at NTR Ghat, for which the police have considered as a provocative statement and a case has been registered against the leader.
