Rahul Gandhi said that the incident of burning alive took place during Bihar Assembly elections. The state government has taken a dangerous step to cover up its false propaganda of good governance and mislead the voters.
New Delhi: Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday attacked the government for suppressing the case of burning a girl alive in Vaishali, Bihar. He said that the inhuman step that has been taken to save the fake foundation of good governance for electoral gains is a big crime.
Mr. Gandhi said that the incident took place during the Bihar Assembly elections, and the state government has taken a dangerous step to cover up its false propaganda of good governance and mislead the voters.
Mr. Gandhi tweeted, “Whose crime is more dangerous — the one who committed this inhuman act or those who hid it for electoral gains so that this misrule could lay the foundation of his false ‘Good Governance’?”

With this tweet, the Congress leader posted a news report from Bihar’s Hajipur Date Line stating that the atmosphere of the state assembly elections was not spoiled, so the police suppressed the case of burning the girl alive.
