President Ram Nath Kovind appointed regular judges in the Guwahati High Court using the powers conferred in Article 217 of the Constitution.

New Delhi: Three judges have been appointed in the Guwahati High Court. This information was given by the Ministry of Law and Justice on Friday.

President Ram Nath Kovind, using the powers conferred on Article 217 of the Constitution, has appointed Additional Judge Sanjay Kumar Medhi, Justice Nani Tagia, and Justice Manish Chaudhary of the Gauhati High Court as regular judges in this High Court.

Their appointment will be effective from the day they take office.
